They say ‘every cloud has a silver lining’ and while 2025 saw plenty of gloom and negativity, Plaza Estates were fortunate to have many vendors who understood the market and sold properties at a level that met their expectations and yet were attractive enough that buyers felt comfortable to buy.

Plaza Estates managed to increase their volume of sales up by 37% from the previous year. Now that we have entered 2026, we remain cautious but optimistic. We cannot see much change to the economy and market sentiment for 2026.

It will be for shrewd vendors to manage their expectations and allow their agent to provide sound advice when selling their property for them. Working closely with their clients and understanding both the needs of the vendor and applicants, Plaza Estates has proven that an experienced agent is invaluable in a challenging marketplace.

There is significant evidence to show multi-office agents have struggled whilst independent agents with local knowledge, strong personal contacts have more success in testing markets because of the hands-on personal service they offer.

We feel certain market conditions will improve in 2026 helping to stabilise market opinion. Although economic growth may be stifled, real estate activity is expected to build through the year. A more favourable debt environment, driven by falling interest rates and stronger lender competition will bolster the market which should strengthen investor activity among domestic and international buyers.

We have been using Plaza Estates for many years for all our property requirements (sales, letting and management) and are delighted with the results and service they constantly deliver and provide!

I generally dealt with the Marble Arch branch most of the time, but I can also say that the Knightsbridge office was also exceptionally helpful and professional on the occasions I did deal with them. Plaza Estates in general are excellent.
